STS International is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support a portfolio of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) projects for DoD/US Army and SOF.

• Assist in the design, integration, and testing of C5ISR systems and solutions.
• Develop system architecture requirements and specification based on customer needs and industry standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system engineers and project managers to ensure successful system integration.
• Conduct system analysis and performance assessment to identify areas for improvement and optimize system functionality
• Identify and mitigate technical risk and issues during system integration and deployment
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in the C5ISR domain
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and present technical reports documentation and presentation to internal and external stakeholders

• 10 years of experience of DoD, US Army or SOF program with a minimum 5 or more of that involving C5ISR
• Experience with C5ISR systems technologies including (but not limited to)
  • Tactical, Cloud Solutions, Enterprise Architectures, and Cybersecurity
  • Commercial Satellite, Cognitive Radios, and Cloud-Based Solutions
  • Models Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Terminals,
  • Low Probability of Intercept (LPI) and Low Probability of Detection (LPD) Technology
  • Continuous Integration (CI) And Continuous Delivery (CD) Within Development, Security, And Operations (DevSecOps) Pipelines
  • Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (MANET) Solutions
  • High Altitude Payloads, And Deployable Communication Kits
  • Spectrum and Bandwidth Management
  • Network Analytics Capabilities
  • Network and System Hardening
• Experience performing systems engineering; software development and integration; and development of C5ISR systems, software, and capabilities.
• Experience in working with engineering teams, engaging with customers, and contributing engineering expertise technical proposal content development.
• Experience effectively communicating and coordinating with US government customers and other contractors to deliver project technical performance.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office 365 suite required
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or similar technical field.
• Assist in the install, integration and test of communications and networking equipment in military vehicle and/or at military installations.
• May require lifting up to 50lbs

Additional Preferred Experience:

• Knowledgeable with the US Army’s plan to modernize the tactical networks in support of LSCO and MDO.
• Lead capture for complex and technical bids, including identifying and comprehending clients’ requirements and buying patterns, developing complex technical solution options, and building a differentiated team that can deliver client impact through a winning bid.
• Able to manage a systematic program of customer engagements to collect actionable business intelligence and shape future business opportunities
• Experience with developing and maintaining effective internal and external business relationships with clients and industry partners
